Release the cows

Familiar faces return to the common this month as around 800 cattle get released to graze near the Old Lodge.

As ever we advice our loyal followers to be careful on their journeys around the common as these lovely beasts make the common their home for the summer.

 

New Relations

We are delighted to be working with Ruby & White Butchers who are based in Bristol, Ruby & White will be supplying us with the majority of our beef produce. The beef is sourced from a farm in Malmesbury so it keeps in with our ethos of quality local produce.

Add this relationship to the already great partnership we have with Country Quality Meat in Nailsworth we certainly feel that we have the right reciepe for fantastically sourced local food and we hope you agree.

Spring Menus

Look out for our new spring menus.

We launched our new menus at the Old Fleece, Britannia and Fostons Ash over the weekend. Keep any eye out for the Old Lodge menu coming soon.

Lots of new exciting dishes to try, beautiful duck breast at the Fleece, Rich's fish pie at the Fostons or old spot pork tenderloin at the Britannia pluc many others. We would love to hear any feedback you have on our new dishes. We have certainly enjoyed our menu tastings and hope you do too.
