Our grapes are coming along nicely!
Grigshot, our little farm that's hidden behind The Old Fleece, isn't only home to pigs and sheep. We're also growing grapes! We've got some beautiful vines that is growing beautifully and the grapes ripen well because they're are growing against a west facing limestone wall. We haven't got enough of a harvest to be serving bottles of Chateau Grigshot just yet, but last year we preserved the grapes and they appeared on the menu at The Old Lodge, something that we'll be doing again this year. Here are a couple of pictures of Nick pruning the vines to imrpove the harvest.
